The traditional materials of our beads are said to have curative and balancing qualities. Bracelet is strung on elastic to fit most sizes and made by our Fair Trade cottage Inustry partners.
The term “Rudraksha” has been derived from the combination of two Sanskril words, Rudra meaning “Lord Shiva” and ashka meaning tears. Based on Vedic and Buddhist traditions, the large bead represents the teacher of teaching, and is called the Meru Bead, named after the mystical mountain named Meru. Also based on these traditions, the Rudrashka beads are said to bring the wearer health, happiness, and success, and to facilitate meditation.
